Cheryl Abana-Emmer, MHS, CRC, LRC, CCM

Cheryl Abana-Emmer is a Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor and Certified Case Manager for the Tulane University Center for Brain Health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of New Orleans in 2008 and Master of Health Sciences in Rehabilitation Counseling from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in 2011. Currently, she is pursuing her Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport. Cheryl has years of experience in providing rehabilitation counseling and case management for brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and general rehabilitation in an inpatient setting from the pre-admission standpoint through discharging to the community. For the private sector, she worked as a vocational counselor providing job placement and life care planning services.
