Lane Fernandez Anthony

Lane serves as the accountant for the Center for Sport, performing day-to-day accounting duties, budgeting and forecasting fiscal year activity, and management of all financial data. Prior to her role at the Center for Sport, Lane worked in the Tulane Advancement Office for the School of Medicine where she assisted development officers in major gift fundraising. Lane was born in New Orleans and raised in Mandeville. She graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and received her Master of Business Administration from Tulane University.

Teresa M. Belt, M.Ed

Teresa Belt, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, has more than 12 years of experience in education, serving as as both an instructor and administrator in secondary education. Belt has worked with learners of all ages, from youth to adult, and has extensive experience designing coursework to address the appropriate needs of the audience. As an administrator of academics, she has overseen the development of curriculum in several disciplines, and developed and implemented varying levels of technology-centered curricula.

Angela Sewell

As a Senior Patient Representative, Angela assists PACT Clinic program participants and with various administrative duties related to former professional athlete programs, including program scheduling/planning, clinical tasks for the Director of Operations and Care Coordinators in all clinical tasks, and coordination of patient registration and insurance verification. Angela works with the Program Director, physicians, all faculty, fellows, and staff members in the academic medical center.

Jenna Graf, MPH, RN

Jenna Graf is a registered nurse who serves former players referred to PACT by The Trust. Jenna received a Bachelor’s in Genetics from the University of Georgia and a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine before receiving her nursing degree from Our Lady of the Lake College. Over the past seven years, Jenna has worked at local hospitals, intensive care and post anesthesia care units, and outpatient surgery centers in the New Orleans area.

Bonnie McCollough

As Director of External Relations, Bonnie is responsible for strategic communications and marketing in business partnership and expansion opportunities for the Center for Sport.  Her responsibilities include the development and coordination of the Center’s engagement and fundraising efforts, including donor and major gift opportunities.

Scott Hebert, MA, ATC, LAT

Scott Hebert is a certified athletic trainer who serves as one of the care managers for The Trust with the Professional Athlete Care Team at the Tulane University School of Medicine. Scott assists former players in accessing necessary medical services during their Brain and Body Assessment and their Milestone Wellness Assessment. He was a graduate assistant at Univeristy of South Florida for two years, working primarily with the school’s football team. Scott also served as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Cary Berthelot, MA, ATC, LAT

Cary Berthelot is a certified trainer who brings nearly 20 years of experience to her position as Care Manager for The Trust at the Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine, primarily assisting former players and providing services with the Brain and Body Assessment. She most recently served as the Program Director for the Athletic Training Education Program at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. She also served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer at Southeastern, where she taught in the Department of Kinesiology for 12 years.

Melinda McDonell, MS, ATC, LAT

Melinda (Mindy) McDonell serves as one of the care managers assisting former players who are referred from The Trust to Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine with their access to necessary medical services during their Brain and Body Assessment. Mindy is from Washington State and has been a certified athletic trainer since 1986. Mindy joined the Tulane University Athletic Training Staff in November 2012 where she provided athletic training services to the Tulane athletic teams. She served as an assistant athletic trainer at Washington State University from 1990-2001.

Eric Beverly

As Director of Operations, Eric’s responsibilities include daily operations of all related programming, personnel and financial management, strategic development, financial management, and collaborative communication for the Center for Sport. Prior to his time at Tulane, Eric served as Assistant Athletics Director for Student Services at the University of Texas at Austin from 2012 - 2017, where his responsibilities included oversight of the academic support staff and student services program for football.
