The NFL Player Care Foundation (PCF) has partnered with the Professional Athlete Care Team (PACT) at Tulane Medical Center to conduct its Healthy Body and Mind Screening program. This FREE national screening program is open to all former NFL players and includes a series of private and confidential cardiovascular and prostate screenings and mental health resources and education.
Allen Sills, MD, FACS, FAANS is a neurosurgeon and the first ever Chief Medical Officer for the National Football League. He is a Professor of Neurological Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and founded the Vanderbilt Sports Concussion Center. Dr. Sills previously served as a neurological consultant to the NFL, NCAA, International Equestrian Foundation (FEI) and is a member of the Concussion in Sport Group, which publishes the worldwide standards for concussion care.
